As part of this year’s exhibition programme, inter.pblc invites artists – currently based in the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Åland Islands) to apply to exhibit at inter.pblc in fall, November 2025. The chosen artist/s will collaborate with curator Inti Wang as well as Kristian Kirk and Johanne Jacobsen to realize the exhibition. The application deadline is Friday, September 5th, at 3pm, 2025.

Inter.pblc was established in 2021 by Kristian Kirk (Curator and Co-Founder) and Johanne Jacobsen (Curator and Co-Founder) as a non-profit visual arts institution dedicated to producing and exhibiting experimental work with a special focus on installation, new media, and performative art practices. The programme reflects interdisciplinary practices that often relate to aesthetics or themes found outside the traditional realms of art.

Economic conditions:

Inter.pblc is offering the invited artist an exhibition fee of 7,500 DKK/ 1.000 EUR in total and technical support for the exhibition production.

Inter.pblc will organize the exhibition opening as well as photo documentation of the exhibition and promotion both locally and internationally.

We encourage you to apply with existing work(s).

Who can apply?
The call for proposals is open to individual artists based in the Nordic region. (Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Åland Islands) Only one project will be realized.

The application must contain:
Short project description (maximum 2,000 characters incl. spacing)
CV
Portfolio (for performance, video, and sound pieces, please submit one or more links)

Applications will be processed by curator Inti Wang, as well as  Kristian Kirk and Johanne Jacobsen. You will receive a response to your application within 7 days from the deadline. Unfortunately, it will not be possible for us to provide reasons for rejection of applications.
